How to play Bet Behind Pro Blackjack

Here’s a full breakdown of how to play Bet Behind Pro Blackjack live casino game:

1. Click on the chips to change your bet value to your desired chip size. The chip display will show you the values that you can bet with.
2. The ‘PLEASE BET BEHIND’ bar will be displayed during the betting window. 
3. Place your bets during this allocated betting time in the designated area marked ‘BET BEHIND’ on any seat.
4. The indicator bar will show the remaining time in green and will decrease to the left.
5. Once the betting time has closed, ‘BETS CLOSED’ will be displayed across the screen.
6. The game status bar will then show ‘BETS ACCEPTED’ on the screen to let you know that your placed bets have been accepted and you will be participating in the next game round.
7. If you click on the ‘BET ON ALL’ button, it will cover all 7 Bet Behind spots at once and bets will be placed on all seats with your selected chip value.
8. The Rebet button can allow you to repeat the same bet that you placed from the previous game round.

Game Information

Select the value of your bet and place it on the 1 or all Bet Behind spots during the betting time.

After the betting time ends and all bets are finalised and the Dealer will begin dealing the cards. Starting with the seat to their left, the Dealer will distribute one card to each seat in turn, finishing with themselves. A second card will then be dealt in the same order, face-up for each seat, while the Dealer receives their second card face-down.

After all of the cards are dealt, the bots will make decisions according to the Basic Strategy on behalf of the players for each of the 7 seats.

Once all of the player’s decisions have been made, the Dealer will open the hidden card and deal additional cards as needed. The Dealer will follow the rule that the Dealer must draw to 16 and stand on 17.

If the Dealer's face-up card is an Ace, players have the option to purchase Insurance to reduce the risk of the Dealer holding a Blackjack. After all Insurance decisions are made, the Dealer's hand is checked for a potential Blackjack. 

If the Dealer has a Blackjack, the round will conclude immediately, and if not, the game continues to the Blackjack Options stage. Following this, the bots will decide whether to take Insurance on behalf of players, based on the Basic Strategy. 

Once all cards are dealt, the Dealer’s hand is compared to the players' hands to determine the winner. Following the results, all cards on the table will be collected and discarded, and bets will be opened for the next game round.

Card Values

Bet Behind Pro Blackjack is played with 8 standard 52-cards decks. The Card values in Blackjack are as follows:

• Cards from 2 to 10 are worth face value.
• Face cards are each worth 10.
• Aces are worth 1 or 11, whichever is more useful to the hand.

You will win when the value of your final hand is closer to 21 than the Dealer’s hand.

An Ace + a Face Card or K combination is the best combo in the game. A combination of an Ace and any card with a value between 2 and 9 is referred to as a ‘soft hand.’

The card’s suit is irrelevant in the main Blackjack game.

Blackjack Strategy and Payouts

Basic Strategy for Blackjack - Betting Options

• Hit - Hits means that an additional card will be drawn. This option can be chosen repeatedly until the bot decides to stand or the hand's value reaches 21. If the hand's value exceeds 21, the bet will automatically be lost.
• Stand -  Stand means that you do not want additional cards to be drawn. This option is usually selected if you are happy with the value of the hand.
• Double Down - Double down means that the bet will be doubled, and only one additional card will be drawn. After doubling down, no further options are offered on the hand. The game round will either move to the next seat, or the Dealer will take the turn.
• Split - Split means that the hand will be split into 2 individual hands, each with a separate bet equal to the main bet.
• Double/Hit - You can Double your bet if possible, otherwise you will Hit.
• Double/Stand - You can Double your bet if possible, otherwise you will Stand.
   

Winning hands with a value higher than the Dealer will be paid 1 to 1, and hands with a Blackjack will be paid 3 to 2. In the case of a Push (when hands tie with the Dealer) your bet will be returned to your balance.

Bet Behind Pro Blackjack will be played with 8 decks of 52 cards each and the Dealer must draw on 16 and always stand on 17.

Player can Split two initial cards of equal value and will be able to Split Aces, but cannot Hit on Split Aces.

Insurance is offered with an opened Ace and Insurance pays 2 to 1.

Bet Behind Feature

The Bet Behind feature lets you place bets on the hands of the bots at the table. If the bot wins, you win. To Bet Behind a bot, simply place a bet in any activated Bet Behind spot at the bot’s seat while betting is open. The decisions are automated and follow Basic Strategy rules.

The payout for Bet Behind bets matches that of the main Blackjack bets, and the table limits for these bets can be found in the Bet Limits & Payouts window. The Winning Badge next to a bot’s name highlights those with the longest winning streaks, with the number in the star indicating their consecutive game round wins. Please note that any lost round results in the loss of the Winning Badge, regardless of prior win streaks.

An unlimited number of players can bet behind any bot, with the nickname below the seat identifying the bot making all decisions for that hand. By default, Bet Behind settings follow the bot’s actions and automatically deduct the necessary funds from your balance for Double Down or Split options. 

Player Statistics display the number of players who have placed bets on the Bet Behind spot during the current game round. If you are playing on a mobile device, the Bet Behind spot will be located under the seat.
