Quickfire are here with a game that’s so full of bonuses you won’t know what’s hit you. Meet Medallion. It’s a Megaways slot, so straight away that’s an indicator that you’re in for a fun time, even before you hear the intense backing music and take a look around at the scene; the lights are dim and there’s some luxurious seating available. The play board takes up very little of the screen, but looks elegant as it’s surrounded by gold borders. Of course, the Medallion might pop up when you play, but there are Free Spins, Expanding Wilds, Avalanches and almost anything else you can imagine being in a slot - you’d deserve a medallion for remembering it all!
How to play
There are some high-value symbols to watch for, as you could get £30 from a single combination! The Wild symbol also appears, substituting for the other symbols in winning paylines, and it can expand when the Wild Stone (more on that shortly) is activated too. In these cases, Wild symbols will expand to cover the entire reel - they’ll get a Wild Multiplier too. Shaking up the play board even more, symbols in winning combinations will disappear, activating the Avalanche feature as more new symbols come and take their place. The more consecutive wins you get, the more the Avalanche Multiplier increases too, so you could get some pretty big wins. Of course, being Megaways, there are plenty of different ways to win as it is, so the world is your oyster!
You’re probably wondering what this Medallion has got to do with everything. In fact, it pops up randomly after base game spins. It’s a spinning coin with a gold side and a silver side, and it’ll land on one or the other. If it lands on the gold side, it’ll activate one or more Feature Stones, while if it lands on the silver side, it’ll deactivate one or more - tense, right? There are 3 Feature Stones and each one corresponds to a feature. If you’re lucky, you’ll have the Wild Stone, Free Spins Stone and Respin Stone all activated simultaneously! The Respin Stone activates the Void Respin symbol, and when this lands on the reel, it removes between 2 to 10 symbols from the board - if they aren’t part of a winning combo - triggering an Avalanche. In contrast, the Free Spin Stone triggers 10 Free Spins, also awarding the features of the other stones too - even once you’ve used up your Free Spins, they stay activated!
