Keep a lookout for these lesser-spotted jewels in this Quickspin slot. There are plenty of them, all in bright colours, paying up to £25 from a £1 spin. In this slot game, you’re sat at a desk, mysterious music playing all around you, trying to unravel the secrets held by these jewels.
The graphics are quite detailed and there are plenty of brown and bronze shades around - perhaps we’ve been transported to a bygone era where you’re painstakingly working by candlelight? If you like games full of brightly-coloured stones and low-key, mysterious themes, you’re sure to enjoy Arcane Gems, so why not give it a try?
How to play
Although there are just 9 paylines here, that’s only half of the story. Thanks to the Adjacent Pay feature, any 3, 4 or 5 symbols connected adjacently somewhere on the board anywhere on a winning line (not just starting from the leftmost reel) will pay 3, 4 or 5-of-a-kind respectively.
Some of the symbols are pretty low in value, with the card suit symbols paying out a maximum of £1.40 per £1 spin, but the precious gems make up for this as you can get up to £25 on the same-value spin. The play board has 5 reels so there are 15 symbols in all - with Adjacent Pay, the possibilities are endless!
There are a couple of crafty little mechanics here, giving you a leg-up when it comes to getting those all-important wins. Get 3 or more symbols on a winning line in the base game, and you’ll trigger the Arcane Lock Mechanics. Here, the highest-winning symbols will lock in place, as the rest respin until no more of said symbol land. After the final respin, your total win will be paid out, and it could be fairly big!
There are Arcane Multipliers too - if you manage to fill an entire column with locked symbols, you’ll be awarded a random multiplier between x2 and x5, so that’s another little help you might receive from these crafty gems. Perhaps you’ll get both benefits - you won’t know until you try it out, so give it a go!
